Reporting progress on cargo per month servers

I just finished my first game on server x4: 10,000 coal in a 3 month period. It's a neat challenge!

When the server periodically reports the players' progress it shows how much coal has been delivered to the city at that precise moment. If the report happens at the beginning of the 3 month period it could report only a few hundred tons of coal is being delivered by that player when in actuality he or she may already be transporting many thousands of tons. Is there a way for the server to remember each players' amount at the moment of the cargo reset, and then show that figure in the progress report instead?

you can see the current amount with the "!cv" or "!goal" also. More precise display is in the town info (just click the name of claimed town in map).

And just for info,  the periods aren´t reseted at same time for every company because the period starts with new company start. In fact the server progress shows the current value from all companies only. It  would be an alternative to show the previous amounts of cargo from all companies on the story book page (newspaper button).
